Keith "Kim" Saurey

Keith T. "Kim" Saurey, 54, of Chester, died Friday, July 2, 2010, at his home of natural causes. He was born May 12, 1956 in Rexburg, Idaho to Keith Charles and Margaret Treva Machen Saurey. He attended South Fremont High School.

He married Tauna Wilding on August 16, 1974, in Teton, Idaho.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Kim farmed and ranched in Chester and Island Park for many years. He also worked for Hill and Son Excavation, where he was a very talented operator.

He loved the outdoors. Snowmachining, fishing and hunting filled his spare time. Camping with his family was his favorite activity. He was gearing up for another campout when the cancer finally won. He will be missed by many and loved by all.

He is survived by his wife Tauna of Chester; children Landon (Lindsay) Saurey, Courtney (Mitch) Harris, Tyler Saurey, ten grandchildren and his stepmother Maxine Saureyand brothers, Richard Green and Tony Green. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Kristopher Keith Saurey.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 6 at the Wilford LDS Chapel with Kent Jeppson officiating. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Flamm Funeral Home in Rexburg and Tuesday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services.
