Obituary

Keith W. Tucker, 86, a lifelong resident of Teton passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at Rexburg, Idaho.
He was born Dec. 9, 1924, the 3rd of 9 children born to Henry R. Tucker and Ruth Siddoway Tucker. Keith attended grade school at Teton and graduated from Madison High School. He attended University of Idaho before being drafted into the army. He served in World War II in the Pacific Theater on Okinawa Island.
Keith joined his father in the sheep business doing business as H.R. Tucker & Son. He was honored as the Idaho Sheepman of the Year at Sun Valley. He enjoyed his association with all of the other woolgrowers.
Keith is survived by his brothers, Mark (Gay) Tucker of Teton; Glenn (Janis) Tucker of Idaho Falls; sisters, Carolyn (Jim) Aslett of Tulelake, CA; and Charlotte (Blair) Parker of Parker; brothers-in-law, John Smith of Moreland and David Bauer of San Luis Obispo, CA. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Reed and Ross and sisters, Jean and Ann.
Funeral services will be held Friday, April 1, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Teton LDS Chapel with Bishop Craig Carter officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 until 7:30 at Bert Flamm Mortuary (581 E. 1st N., St. Anthony) and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at the Church. Burial will be in the Teton-Newdale Cemetery with Military Rites provided by the Madison County Veterans.
The family suggests donation be made to the Fremont Meals on Wheels or the charity of your choice.
