Obituary

Kelli Jo Davis passed away early in the morning on May 31, 2021 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. Kelli was born on April 17, 1960 in Minneapolis, MN, to Roger Davis and Betty Wilson. She was raised in Minnesota and later made her home in Salt Lake City, UT, Reno, NV, and lastly in Idaho.

Kelli raised her kids in the Rexburg area and later settled in St Anthony with her husband John Johnson of 13 years. Kelli loved to be outdoors and always enjoyed the yard work that everyone else hated. For many years she did yard work for her mom, Betty, and step dad Earl who lived just a few doors down, as well as her own. As their health deteriorated, she stepped up for them in any way she could. Kelli's ideal weekend was spent taking care of the yard, followed by time with her husband, and family or friends BBQing for them.

Kelli had a love for people in general; she could talk to anyone about anything and she loved those around her deeply. Her kids and grandkids were her greatest joy in life. She was the grandma that would be outside playing with the kids while all the adults were inside. She volunteered for diapers and baths any time she was around. Her 15th grandbaby will be born later this year and we know she is loving on that baby every chance she gets right now.

Her love for talking to people and making friends helped her in a lot of ways during her working years. She spent several years working for Madison Memorial Hospital, Horkleys, and also at Cal Ranch in Rexburg. Customer Service was her specialty and she enjoyed the many friends and acquaintances she made during those years.

Kelli is survived by her husband, John Johnson of St. Anthony, ID, daughter, Randi (Adam) Huntsman of Rexburg, ID, son, Josh Davis (Makenzi Carter) of St. Anthony, ID, step-daughter, Amanda Johnson (Kyle Clark), of St. Anthony, ID, father and step-mother, Roger and Lenore Davis of Osakis, MN, brother, Shawn Davis of Minneapolis, MN, 9 step brothers and sisters, as well as 14 grandkids. She was proceeded in death by her mother, Betty Wilson and her step father, Earl Wilson. A private burial will be held at a later date.
