Kent Saurey, 64, of Rexburg passed away peacefully Friday, August 11, 2017 at Rexburg Nursing Center. He was born in Rexburg on August 25, 1952 to Seth and Barbara Saurey. He attended schools in Rexburg and graduated from Madison High School.

He married Marcy Mead, they later divorced. He was also married to Mattie Saurey and they later divorced.

During his life he enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping and hunting for arrow heads.

He worked for the city of Rexburg for many years as an equipment operator.

He is survived by his three children; Danielle (Chet) Price of Marietta, Georgia, Jerad (Kristy Kelly) Saurey of Rexburg, Idaho, and Amber (Travis Johnson) Saurey of Boise, Idaho as well as 10 grandchildren. He is also survived by his two brothers, Quinn (Marilyn) Saurey and Wade (Julie) Saurey, both of Hibbard.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 15th at Flamm Funeral Home in Rexburg. The family will receive friends Tuesday morning from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the funeral home prior to services. Interment will be in the Burton Cemetery.
