Kevin Read Drussel, 53, of Rexburg, died October 29, 2011 at is home. He was born November 15, 1957 at Burley, Idaho to Donald read Drussel and JoAnn Harper Drussel. At the age of eight, the family moved to Idaho Falls and then to Archer, Idaho.

Kevin attended school in Archer and Rexburg, graduating from Madison High School in 1976. He was a heavy equipment operator and worked many years for Dick Hill and Sons in excavation and construction. He enjoyed camping and spending time with family and friends and going for drives.

He is survived by a daughter; Cassie Drussel of Rigby, a son; Travis Drussel of Atlanta, Georgia, his mother; JoAnn Drussel of Archer and siblings; Connie Clawson of Cottonwood, Arizona, Dale Drussel of El Paso, Texas, Mike Drussel of Rexburg and D'lene Alley of Phoenix, Arizona and two grandchilren. He was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at the Flamm Funeral Home in Rexburg. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services and interment will take place in the Sutton Cemetery at Archer. Condolences may be sent in care of www.flammfh.com.
