Kim Alisa Oswald, 64, of Rexburg Idaho, passed away on May 5, 2024, in her sleep.
Kim was born on June 11, 1958, to Duane & Carol Oswald in Idaho falls, Idaho. After Kim graduated from Bonneville High School in 1976, She went on to study for accounting at Ricks College.
In 1977, Kim was married in Idaho Falls and went on to have 4 children, Ned, Andrew, Trent & Brock.
When the boys were able to go to school, Kim became a school bus driver for Fremont County School District. She drove her route every day and in between runs she was the computer teacher for Ashton Elementary. She was able to drive for her sons' school field trips and sporting events.
Kim was heavily involved in cub scouts and helped each one of her sons attain the rank of Eagle Scout.
In 1997, Kim had the opportunity to work for the International Law Enforcement Academy in Roswell, New Mexico, as a liaison for police forces from around the world. After a few years medical issues began to develop, forcing her to move back to Idaho, and closer to her family.
Kim learned to enjoy the hobby of crocheting and was able to utilize her talents and make several blankets for her family. Up until the last day of her life, she always had a Pepsi or a Huckleberry Mountain Dew.
Kim was predeceased by her mother Carol Oswald. She is survived by Her father Duane Oswald of Idaho Falls, brother Phillip Oswald of Lehi, Utah, brother Lyndon Oswald of Idaho Falls, Idaho, brother Darin Oswald of Bosie, Idaho, and her Sister Jennifer Kerner of Shelly, Idaho. Kim is also survived by her married boys Ned & Kristy Rogers of Layton, Utah, Andrew & Keli Rogers of Ashton, Idaho, Trent & Becca Rogers of Idaho Falls, Idaho, & Brock & Stephanie Rogers of Layton, Utah. She has a total of 12 grandchildren.
The graveside ceremony will be held at a later date held in Rockland, Idaho.
