Kirstin Twitchell Allison passed away on Monday, May 11, 2015, in Idaho Falls, ID.
Kirstin was born December 27, 1985, to Kevin and Leslie Twitchell in Idaho Falls. She grew up in Idaho Falls until her family moved to Rexburg, ID when she was in 9th grade. She graduated from Madison High School and attended Brigham Young University-Idaho for two years. She was working as the New Accounts clerk for the Bank of Commerce on the Northgate Mile in Idaho Falls when she passed away.
She met her husband, David Allison, in the fall of 2011. They were married in the Rexburg Temple in May 2012. David is the son of Nickolas and Janis Allison of Rexburg and the grandson of Sharon Bell, also of Rexburg. Kirstin and David lived in Idaho Falls and are members of the LDS Church.
Kirstin enjoyed music. She played the piano and was a member of the Madison High School marching band. She sang in two school choirs: Musettes and Bel Cantos.
Kirstin enjoyed playing video games, reading, and painting. She often joked that playing her Game Boy killed her brain cells and reading revived them. She also enjoyed crafts of all types including crocheting, plastic mesh stitching, stained glass, and jewelry making. She had a vibrant personality and when she entered a room, it would brighten with her presence.
Kirstin is survived by her husband, David Allison of Idaho Falls; her parents, Kevin and Leslie Twitchell of Rexburg; her older siblings, Joshua (Alisha) Twitchell of Omaha, NE; Caleb Twitchell of Spokane, WA; Beth (Jared) Swenson of Twin Falls, ID. Kirstin was also the loving aunt of five adorable nieces.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 23rd at the Rexburg LDS East Stake Center. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at Flamm Funeral Home and again at the church from 9:00 to 9:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment will be in the Rexburg Cemetery.
