Krayton Whyte Michaelson was born on July 5, 2012 in Pocatello, Idaho to Travis and MiKelle Michaelson. He lived in Pocatello for the first two years of his life.
On June 19, 2014, Krayton was blessed with another father, Robert Doyle Barney. At this time in his life, he moved with his mother to Rexburg, Idaho where he lived the remainder of his precious years.
Krayton had a zest for life and always a cute mischievous look on his face. He brought joy and happiness to everyone he met. That was an essential part of his mission in this life and he fulfilled it perfectly. Krayton was blessed with four older siblings who absolutely adored him.
Krayton loved camping, riding dirt bikes, playing in the yard, going to the park, eating pizza and macaroni cheese, playing with trucks and hotwheels, playing with his uncles along with the rest of his family, and spending time with his grandparents. Krayton loved to spend time with his Travis Dad and had a very special bond with him He also loved to pal around the yard and go for rides with Bobby dad in his truck. There also was never a day that Krayton didn't run to his mom to give her a big hug.
Krayton was called back home Sunday, April 16, 2017 to his Heavenly Father. He is a special boy with a very special mission in Heaven. His zest and love for life will forever be burned into the hearts of all those who knew him.
He is survived by his parents, MiKelle and Robert Barney of Rexburg, and Travis Michaelson of Rigby; siblings, Carter Barney, Maycee Michaelson, Jaidyn Michaelson, Jarek Michaelson all of Rexburg; grandparents, Chad and Dianne Whyte of Pocatello, Lyle and Donna Michaelson of Ray, North Dakota, Doyle and Terrie Barney of Rexburg; great-grandparents, Ramona Anderson of Idaho Falls, Theron & Jean McGarry of Rexburg. He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Dell and Sheila Barney.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 22, at the Henry's Fork LDS Stake Center, 1508 West 3000 North, with Bishop J.T. Hill officiating. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at Flamm Funeral Home in Rexburg and Saturday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the stake center prior to services. Krayton will be laid to rest in the Sugar City Cemetery.
There will be a Memorial Fund in Krayton Michaelson's name at Beehive Federal Credit Union.
