Kylan Dusty Kauer – A loved son and brother passed away June 13, 2022, at the age of 27. He will be greatly missed and remembered for his loving heart to all the people who knew him.
He was born on February 10, 1995, in Rexburg, Idaho to Gary and Trudi Hall Kauer. Kylan grew up in the Rexburg, Burton area surrounded by his loving family of four brothers and one sister.
Kylan was a happy boy growing up, enjoying lots of family activities, including camping and traveling around the country and going on yearly family trips to fun and exciting areas.
He inherited a passion from his maternal grandfather, Blaine Hall for Rock & Gem mineral hunting, a favorite family activity. Kylan had a kind and gentle heart for animals and people. He loved raising a variety of pets, including: lizards, snakes and cats. He rarely missed the opportunity to express his love and gratitude to everyone at every gathering. He knew how to work hard. He also enjoyed music. He loved playing the guitar and drums. He also loved working with wood and building things.
Kylan is survived by his grandmother, Sharon Hall, his father, Gary Kauer, and his mother, Trudi Ball, his brothers, Garrett and spouse (Kelsie), Colton, Stetsen and (Celeste) and Landen and his sister, Tyleigh Jo.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Blaine R. Hall, Lorin B. Kauer and grandmother, Erma Rozella Siepert.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 17th, at the Burton 1st Ward Chapel. The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment will be in the Burton Cemetery.
