Obituary

Kyler Travis Sharp, 27, passed away on Monday, July 18, 2022, at his home in Rexburg, Idaho.

Kyler was born on August 30, 1994, in Rexburg, Idaho, to Travis and Alaina Sharp.

He was the third child and grew up in Sugar City, Idaho where he attended school and graduated from Sugar Salem High School in 2013. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Kyler was full of life and had an infectious personality. He could make friends with anyone anywhere. He loved baseball and football in his younger years but as he grew, he lived for hunting, fishing, sledding and motorcycles and did all of these to an extreme. Kyler could set his mind to something and accomplish it. At the time of his death, he was taking on the new adventure of building his own home. Kyler worked for the family painting company for nearly 20 years demonstrating an incredible work ethic.

He met the love of his life, Faith Hill, and they were married on May 9, 2020. Who knew that you could have a wife that loved all the same things you did? They loved hunting, fishing, sledding, motorcycling and camping together as well as doing lots of adventures together. He loved their dog, Axys.

He is survived by his wife, Faith Sharp of Rexburg, parents, Travis and Alaina Sharp of Sugar City, sisters, Shanelle Mele of Rigby, Shalisa Sharp (Brandon Miller) and Baby Boy due in October of Rexburg, nephew, Cyrus Mele, niece, Briella Mele, in laws, Cade Hill, Ardell and Stacy Kaufman of St. Anthony, brothers-in-law, Shane Hill and nephew, Asher of Houston, Texas, Cody Hill and Kaycen Hill of St. Anthony, and grandparents, Ron and Elaine Stoddard of St. Anthony and Gary Mason of Idaho Falls.
