Obituary

LaDell Rigby Miller passed away Monday, January 30, 2017 at her home of natural causes. She will truly be missed by family and friends that loved her so much.

She was born March 17, 1930 in Parker, Idaho to Rulon Remington Rigby and Virginia Wayment.

She attended Parker Elementary and graduated from South Fremont High School.

She married Victor James Miller on October 12, 1946 and they spent 34 years together, he passed away on January 31, 1980.

Anyone that knew her, knew of her love and generosity with anything she had. She took care of herself and lived on her own for the past 37 years.

She worked at Roger Brothers and Basic American for several years, and when she retired she became a Foster Grandparent at the J.C.C. which she did for the past 15 years, loving every minute of it. One of her biggest joys was to attend Church at the J.C.C. just to be with the kids.

She loved her family and never forgot a birthday. A card and birthday money was always in the mail for children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In the summer you could find her tending her beautiful flower gardens in her yard. People would stop and tell her how wonderful they looked and some even took pictures.

She was a true patriot and loved the Constitution.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She had a strong testimony and love of the Gospel.

She is survived by her children, Michael Rulon (Julie) Miller of Parker, ID; Sheree Miller of Parker, ID; Ralph R. (Regena) Miller of Parker, ID: JoAnn (Brad) Simmons of Parker, ID; 19 grandchildren and 48 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Shirley Yancey of St. Anthony, ID and sisters-in-law Zola Rigby of Egin, ID; and Karen Rigby of St. Anthony, ID. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband "Vic", two sons, Eddie and Mark and her daughter Betty Jean, her brothers, Gene, Monte, and Larry.
