Obituary

Lee Ann Blair, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on December 15, 2024, at the age of 63. She was born on June 1, 1961, to Darrol and Renee Fluckiger.

Born with numerous health challenges, Lee Ann faced many obstacles throughout her life. However, her resiliency and determination allowed her to overcome them with strength and grace. Lee Ann's life was filled with love and commitment to her family. She would do anything for the people she loved, and her loyalty and selflessness were unmatched.

In the summer of 1976, Lee Ann met the love of her life, Shayn Blair. They quickly fell in love, and just over a year later, they were married on October 22, 1977. Their marriage lasted 47 years, a union built on deep love, devotion, and unwavering loyalty. Their bond was a true testament to the power of love.

Lee Ann was known for her infectious sense of humor. One of her favorite pastimes was playing pranks, and she especially lived for April Fools' Day when she had free reign to prank everyone around her. Her children and grandchildren have countless lasting stories from these playful moments, and her mischievous spirit will never be forgotten.

In addition to her humor, Lee Ann had a heart full of love and a passion for serving others. Whether it was lending a helping hand or just being there for those in need, she was always doing something for someone else. Her kindness and generosity touched the lives of many, and her legacy of service will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Lee Ann worked in many settings over the years, but her true passion was working with young children. She worked for more than 20 years at Henry's Fork Elementary, teaching young children, and helping them to reach their full potential. She was deeply dedicated to her students, and her nurturing spirit left a lasting impact on the children and families she served.

A devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Lee Ann served in many church callings throughout her life, with a special love for working in Primary. She built meaningful relationships with the children she taught and the adults she served alongside, inspiring others with her love and faith.

Lee Ann is survived by her loving husband, Shayn Blair; children Kassie (Kirk) Abegglen of Archer, Idaho, Alyssa (Evan) Carnahan of Burley, Idaho, Colton (Holly) Blair of Twin Falls, Idaho, and Conner Blair of Saint Anthony, Idaho. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, who were the joy of her life. Lee Ann is further survived by her siblings: JD, Blaine, Jeff, and Marc Fluckiger, and her sister, Linda Messer. She was preceded in death by her parents, Darrol and Renee Fluckiger.

The funeral will be held on Saturday, December 21st, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at the Saint Anthony 3rd Ward Chapel. The family will greet friends during a viewing on Friday, December 20th, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday morning from 9:00 until 9:45 a.m. both times at the church. Interment will be in the Bedford Cemetery at Bedford, Wyoming under the direction of Bert Flamm Mortuary.

Lee Ann's legacy of love, laughter, loyalty, service, and resilience will forever live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched.
