Vadis "Leola" Niederer, 92, passed away Monday, August 20, 2018 at her son's home in Rigby under the care of Aspen Home Health and Hospice. She was born February 21, 1926 in Declo, Idaho to Joseph Hardy and Vadis L. Wodskow.
She married Norman Niederer November 14, 1944 in Nevada and they were later sealed together in the temple.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Leola and Norman made their home in Archer, Idaho then they moved around the area.
She loved to garden, crochet and be with her family and work in her sprout farm. She had a blended family which she enjoyed each of them.
She is survived by her son, Terrel (Cindy) Niederer of Rigby, Idaho, grandsons; Josh (Ariel) Niederer of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Brad (Maria) Knibbs of Lewisville, Idaho, and a granddaughter, Tara Decker of Idaho Falls, Idaho and 8 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her sisters; Bonnie Blakley and Luealla Briggs, her brothers; Roy Hardy and James Hardy and grandsons; Courtney Niederer and Kevin Fox.
The family will visit with friends Monday, August 27, 2018 from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m at Flamm Funeral Home. Private family services will held at the Sutton Cemetery.
