Lesa Perrenoud was born on April 11, 1977 to Scott and Linda Perrenoud, at Madison Memorial Hospital at 7:21pm and passed away on Sunday, June 28th at EIRMC surrounded by family, after a tragic accident.
Lesa lived her whole life in Plano, Idaho, close to family and the great outdoors. She was the second born child of three and was the only daughter. She loved playing sports and was the only girl to play on the Plano boys little league team for years before she was able to join a softball team.
Lesa attended school at Sugar-Salem School District from first grade to graduation, where she graduated in 1995. She continued her schooling at Idaho State University where she graduated with her bachelor's degree of Science in Nursing. Lesa’s nursing career started at Madison Memorial Hospital, where she has worked for 30 years, working in the Med/Surg ICU unit, doing what she loved.
Lesa was a life-long member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. During that time, her favorite calling was when she was called to teach the 7 and 8 year old kids. She never missed a baptism even when she had worked the night before.
Lesa loved doing anything and everything outdoors. Oftentimes you would find her on a river trip, hiking in the mountains, or in her can-am riding the mountain top with family. Lesa had found her love for photography starting in high school. She was an avid photographer, a camera was usually within her reach. One of many of Lesa’s adventures included canyonering in the Grand Canyon where she broke her ankle jumping off a waterfall. She insisted on finishing that trip and not turning back.
When Lesa wasn't in the outdoors you would find her quilting. Through the years, she has built many quilts and pillow cases for family and friends.
She included her nieces and nephew by taking them on adventures. She wanted to give them life experiences and not just material gifts. When all the kids were 5 years old, Lesa took them on a trip to California.
Lesa and her mom celebrated their birthdays in England, while visiting their good friend. Lesa was able to see Wicked for the 100th time! During their time in England, Lesa and her mom were able to spend a whole day at the Harry Potter filming location set.
