Linda Kay Ard passed quietly at home on May 29th, 2022 after a long battle with Alzheimers. She was born May 31, 1953 to William J. Matthews and Julia M. Morris in Great Falls, Montana. Linda moved at 4 years old to Sugar City, Idaho where she attended school, graduating from Sugar High School. Linda married her childhood sweetheart Shayne Ard on April 13th, 1973. Linda worked various jobs including in the Jr. High Cafeteria and helped her husband run the family business. She was known for her work in leaded glass and etching of glass.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Billy and Bobby.

Linda is survived by her husband Shayne, daughter Jennifer (Jared) Kay, son Brett Ard, 10 grandkids, and brother Kenneth Matthews.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 3rd at the Sugar City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 2nd at Flamm Funeral Home and from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the Sugar City Cemetery prior to the service.
