Lola Wilde

Lola Rae Stowers Wilde, 67, of Rexburg, died Monday, October 22, 2012 form numerous health issues. She was born December 19, 1944 to Alice Delpha Fullmer Stowers of Sugar Salem and Donald Willard Stowers of Rigby. Sadly when Lola was just four years old her mother died from congestive heart failure. She attended schools in the Rexburg area and Colorado.

For almost 40 years Lola worked in the medical field, first as a CNA then as a LPN and finally as a Registered Nurse.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served a full time mission in Costa Rica providing health care for 180 missionaries. She served the last three months of her mission in Morristown, New Jersey. She has mostly recently been a part-time service missionary for the Family History Center.

She is survived by her four surviving children are Donna Leanne Thornbrugh Heubner, Kimberly Kay Thornbrugh Shelton, John Lee Thornbrugh Fullmer and Jeffery Bruce Wilde. As well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Donald Kay Stowers.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 27, 2012 at Flamm Funeral Home. The will be a visitation the day of the service from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Sugar City Cemetery.
