Loren W. Gardner 79 of Egin, passed away on October 22, 2023.
He was born on September 23m 1944 at St. Anthony, Idaho, to Ross and Erma Foster Gardner. He grew up in Teton, ID and graduated from South Fremont High School. After graduation he served for 4 years in the Air Force.
He married Margie Rumsey on July 9, 1965. They have 3 children.
Loren enjoyed fishing, Hunting, camping and riding the dunes. He also loved playing and watching many sports. He had a love for animals and was always bringing home a stray. He loved entertaining his nieces nephews and grandchildren with funny stories and making them laugh.
He is survived by his wife, Margie; children, Lisa (James) Skaife, Kelli Thomas and Mike Gardner; brothers, Kenny (Linda) Gardner, Keven (Sandy) Gardner and sister, Gayla (Skip) Kellogg; 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Dahlan Gardner, sister-in-law Barbara Gardner and his sister Renae Gardner.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 27, 2023 at 11:00 in the Egin Bench Chapel. The family will receive friends on Friday morning from 10:00 until 10:45 a.m. also at the church. Burial will be in the Parker Cemetery with military rites by the St. Anthony Veterans and the Air Force Honor Guard. Arrangements are under the direction of Bert Flamm Mortuary.
