Louise Kelsheimer
Jessie Louise Kelsheimer, 94, of Newdale, Idaho, passed away Sunday, May 31, 2015 at her home of natural causes.
Louise was born August 9, 1920 in Turnner, Idaho to George and Jessie Albiston. She was raised in the mining town of Conda, Idaho which no longer exists. She had many fond memories of growing up there with her brothers and sisters.
She married Joseph Kelsheimer October 18, 1937. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake City, Utah temple. They moved around quite a lot and finally settled in Caldwell, Idaho. This is where Daddy taught school and Mom took care of Dad. They raised a huge garden every summer and furnished fresh garden produce to family, friends and neighbors.
Jessie was very active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She had a beautiful and strong testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
She moved to Newdale, Idaho in 2004 to live with her daughter Marilyn. Her son, Donald, came to live with her in 2009. She always felt blessed to be close to her kids. She loved her family and loved visits from them. She loved sharing her experiences and life memories with her children and grandchildren as well as with any one who would listen.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe, a son, Robert who died at 18 months old and 3 brothers. She is survived by her children, Marilyn Kent and Donald Kelsheimer, two sisters, Bernice Palmer and Joy Mabbott, 14 grandchildren, 59 great grandchildren and 29 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 4, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Newdale LDS Ward Chapel. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at the church. A graveside service and interment will be Friday, June 5, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. in the Canyon Hill Cemetery in Caldwell, ID.
