Obituary

Our sweet angel sister, Ludene Webster, 71, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 11, 2020 at the Homestead in Rexburg.

Ludene was born January 28, 1949 in Rexburg Idaho to Mark and Donna Webster. She is the fourth of nine children and grew up in Sugar City and lived there until she moved into an assisted living home.

Her family is everything to her and she loved spending time with them. She especially loves her many nieces and nephews and never forgot a birthday or anniversary. Ludene loved to embroider and made many hand made things and gave them to her friends and family as gifts. She loved John Wayne and Disney movies, and game shows. Her favorite outing was going to see the Bar J Wranglers in Jackson Wyoming and was proud to have each of their autographs. Playing the piano for many hours each day brought her and those listening to her so much joy! Ludene loved to go sledding, snowmobiling, four wheeling and anything else the family was doing. She never slowed down!

While living at the Homestead, she loved to joke with the caregivers and go on golf club rides. Each day she would fold the clean tablecloths and put them on the tables. She would also make sure every salt and pepper shaker was filled and ready for dinner.

Ludene was a faithful follower of Christ and patterned her life after Him. She was always keeping her hands busy and looking for ways to serve others. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served as a nursery leader for over 35 years. She served a temple mission for many years and loved going to the temple as often as she could.

Ludene's life was blessed with so many friends who she loved dearly. She was so proud of her family and loved to tell everyone about them and all of their accomplishments.

She is survived by her siblings, LaRue (Francis) Ripplinger, Lynn (Shirlee) Webster, Steven (Marlene) Webster, Bart (Glenda Jo) Webster, Bronda (Paul) Cazier, Merlin (Kathryn) Webster, and Julie (Ron) Clark and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Milton Webster, Sister in law - LuAnn Webster, brother in law Francis Ripplinger and nephew's Tyson Webster, Nicholas Cazier and niece Amanda Summers.

The family will greet friends on Thursday, September 17th from 5:30 to 7:00 pm at Flamm Funeral Home in Rexburg. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday September 18th at the Sugar City Cemetery.
