Luke Clark, 46, of Rexburg ID who passed away Monday October 12, 2026. Luke was the youngest son of 5 children, plus 2 older half-sisters, born to Frank and Percy Clark in 1980. He grew up alongside the Snake River in Clarkston Washington, before the family moved to Rexburg Idaho in 1987.
He was gifted in any talents and hobbies he set his mind to, including karate, gymnastics, magic tricks, stand up comedy, video games, guitar, skating, ballroom dance, art, learning Japanese and Spanish, and teaching himself programming.
He was known for being exceptionally kind and taught others how to do anything he had expertise in. Jovial and with a quick wit, Luke made friends everywhere he went and was loved by anyone who knew him. He always had time to listen, and a smile on his face.
A few of his accomplishments include being an Eagle Scout, serving an LDS mission in Hartford, Connecticut, graduating with his Bachelor’s in Economics from BYU-I, working in New York City’s financial district as an Actuary, earning a Master’s degree in Economics from Durham University in England, and programming several games and apps for his own company, Kendosoft.
Luke went above and beyond in his care for parents and grandparent Gram at the end of their lives. He inspired and brought comfort and joy to many, and will be sorely missed by all.
He is survived by his cat O’Malley, family members Carmel, Cindi, Guy, Josh, Mauri, Jonah, Riley, Charity, Asia, Sidney Jo, Logan, Canyon, Journey, Meridian, many close friends including the Huber, Duerden, Beasley, Smith, and Andersen families, as well as his Basic American Foods work family.
Services celebrating Luke’s life and impact will be held on Saturday October 24, 2026 at 12pm at LDS Church building located at 210 S 12th W, in Rexburg Idaho. Family, friends, coworkers, and all those that loved Luke are welcome to attend.
