On Sunday, March 19, 2023, Lula Mae Cassity loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother passed away at age of eighty-five. She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years Byron Franklin Cassity. Mae as everyone knew her is survived by one daughter, Rebecca Colleen (Cassity) El-Kher. Two grandsons, one great granddaughter, and five great grandsons. She also welcomed a foster daughter into her family fold and her children. Mae was a friend to all, and she always made a person feel welcomed. She was kind and generous and would as the saying goes, she would give the shirt off her back to someone in need. At the same time, she could be stubborn to a fault and would not hesitate to let someone know when they had crossed a line.

Services are set for Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Flamm Funeral Home 61 N. 1st E. Rexburg, Idaho. Interment will be at the Parker Cemetery.
