Obituary

Lyle Coey Wadsworth, 83, of Rexburg, passed away Sunday, October 5, 2014 at Eastern Idaho Medical Center leaving a legacy of being hard-working and diligent as a man of integrity with unconditional love for his family. Lyle was born in Ucon, Idaho as the seventh of eight children on January 19, 1931 to Joseph McCloy and Edna Stoddard Wadsworth. He spent most of his early years in Iona, Idaho.

After retirement from 45 years of employment at Roger Brothers/Basic American Foods, Lyle and Buffie enjoyed spending the winter months in Yuma, Arizona where they made many friends.

Lyle is survived by his wife Buffie; daughter Laurie (Alan) Clapp of Idaho Falls, sons Derek (Colleen) Wadsworth of Rexburg and Randy (Amber) Wadsworth of Bend, Oregon; twelve grandchildren Eric (Melissa) Thompson, Tynea (Daniel) Escobar, Collette (Andrew) Flamm, Nathan (Jenny) Wadsworth, Jared, Camille and Carly Wadsworth, Makena, Kaden , Maile, Kole, and Macey Wadsworth; and eight great grandchildren Weston and Karston Thompson, Elijah Escobar, Douglas, Claire, Emily and Austin Flamm, and Alexander Wadsworth. He has two living sisters, Hellen (Jim) Guercio and Viola (Duane) Denning.
