Ronald Lynn Gifford, 54 of St. Anthony, passed away Friday, October 2, 2020 of a heart attack.

Lynn was born June 29, 1966 in Rexburg, Idaho to Irene Goodson Gifford and Paul Gifford. He joined a boisterous family of 3 big brothers, Rodney, Stephen, and Randy. Three sisters joined the family, Robin, Paula, and Mary.

Lynn attended schools in Ashton and St. Anthony. He attended Eastern Idaho Technical College in Idaho Falls where he became a computer technician. He did his internship for ML Services Inc in Idaho Falls. After his internship was over he was hired by ML Services to work at the INEL where he delivered and repaired computers. He had a security clearance and had a chance to visit many places at the INL and see lots of cool stuff not many people are allowed to see.

Lynn married Angela Clark May 19, 1984. They were very young and sort of grew up together. They have been married for 36 years. They had one son, Dustin who lives in Idaho Falls with their grandson Quentin.

Lynn is survived by his wife Angela of St. Anthony; his son Dustin (Siobhan) Gifford and grandson Quentin of Idaho Falls; niece Jamie Carlson of St. Anthony; mother Irene of Florida; brother Randy of Twin Falls; sisters Paula Goodson; and Mary (Ike) Eicholz of Georgia; and other cousins, nieces and nephews and many very good friends.

Lynn was preceded in death by his father Paul Gifford; two sisters Rebecca and Robin; two brothers Rodney and Stephen.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 9, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at the St. Anthony Riverview Cemetery. The family will receive friends also on Friday from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Bert Flamm Mortuary, 581 E. 1st N., St. Antony. Those attending are encouraged to social distance and take other appropriate measures. For the cemetery bring your own seating.
