Makayla Dawn Bloxham passed away at the young age of 19 on Sunday July 24, 2022 from a tragic car accident while driving home to Idaho from Oregon.

Makayla loved living near the beach with her sister Kirsten Bloxham. She loved her job at the Seven Feathers Casino as a laundry attendant where she actually enjoyed talking and visiting with her co-workers. Anyone that knew her, knew of her anxiety with talking to people outside of her immediate family and close friends. Which is why her job was so important to her.

She loved to read, kayak, listen to music and cook chicken Alfredo. There is a deep love for her family and for her mommy's hugs . She loved being on her own and saving money.

Makayla was preceded in death by an Aunt Christina Cuevas of Declo, Grandpa John Bloxham of Pocatello , great-grandparents Ross and Janet Bloxham- Pocatello and Richard Joslin- NM

She is survived by her parents Bill Bloxham of Blackfoot , Angela (Justin) Abegglen; siblings Cheyann Abegglen, Cody Abegglen, Kirsten Bloxham, Hayley Bloxham, Kenneth Abegglen and David Abegglen; Grandparents Valda Carrillo (Burley), Lynn and Erlona Harrison, Terry and Diane Abegglen, and a great Grandma Linda Carroll Joslin of Edgewood NM.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Anthony LDS Stake Center. The family will receive friends Monday, August 1, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. both times at the Stake Center. Arrangements are under the direction of Bert Flamm Mortuary.
