Margaret Ann Stewart, 71, of Dubois, died Saturday, February 25, 2012. She was born November 5, 1940 in Blackfoot, Idaho to Cecil Earl and Alice Josephine Canfield Abel.
She married Keith Val Stewart on April 18, 2006.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served many years as a primary worker. Later she served a genealogical mission to California.
She loved gardening, canning and yard work. She loved to be outdoors. She loved genealogy and spending time in the Temple. She was an amazing mom and grandmother. Her family was her life. She was a healer. She was kind and gentle to everyone she met. She was loved dearly by all who knew her, and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her husband, Keith Stewart of Dubois, ID, her children, Vincent (Wendy) Jenkins of Rexburg, ID, Belinda (Doug) Putnam of Roberts, ID, Scott (Stacey) Jenkins of Monticello, UT, and Kevin (Jan) Jenkins of Elko, NV, as well as 15 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her step-children, Patrick James Stewart, Reed Lee Stewart, William Boyd Stewart, Keith V. Stewart Jr., Kenneth Edward Stewart, Gordon Ray Stewart, Russell F. Stewart and Tammie Lynn Stewart.
She is preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Holden Putnam and a stepson, David Aaron Stewart.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 3, 2012 at the Beaver Creek LDS Chapel in Dubois, with Shane Jacobsen officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment will be in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery under the direction of Flamm Funeral Home of Rexburg.
