IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Margaret Ann
Walz
December 12, 1944 – September 7, 2022
Margaret Ann Walz, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 7. She was seventy-seven years old. Born to Lois and Olif Hoffman in Driggs, Idaho, on December 12, 1944, Ann later moved to Rexburg, Idaho, and lived there through graduation from Madison High School in May, 1963. She later graduated from Utah State University in 1967.
Ann lived a long, full life and was a beautiful mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend. She was creative, talented and enjoyed sewing, shopping, decorating, knitting, refinishing furniture and needle point. She loved sports and often had two or three TVs on different games at one time. Her favorites were the Dallas Cowboys and the Utah Jazz. She was smart as a whip and loved watching Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune as well as doing crosswords and other word games. We will miss her deeply.
She is survived by her loving husband, Ryan, son John Walz, son David (Alicia) Sanguinetti, and daughter Kimberly (Troy) McKinnon, as well as grandchildren Gibson, Dominick, Avy, Anthony and Daley. She is also survived by sisters Patricia (Don) Heitmann and Kathryn (Mike) Nyborg. She had many nieces, nephews and cousins who loved her as well. Her parents and brother Jack preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 16, at 11 a.m. at Flamm Funeral Home ( 61 N 1st E, Rexburg, Idaho ) with a viewing starting at 10 a.m.
We would like to thank the staff at Copper Summit Assisted Living in Pocatello for their considerate care and kindness during Ann's stay.
