Marian Yvonne Long Olsen, was born on April 23, 1935 to Wayne Porter and Jean Evelyn Fage Long in Burley, Idaho.

She had two older siblings, Carol and Guysey and two younger siblings, Rodger and Delores.

She graduated from Burley High School in 1953. In 1954 she met Elmer John ˝Ole˝ Olsen Jr. while he was on leave from the Navy. They were married October 9, 1954 and were later sealed in the Los Angles Temple on April 10, 1965.

She worked as a telephone switch board operator for a time while ˝Ole˝ was away at sea and on his return she devoted her time to raising her family.
They raised their 4 sons, Kenneth, Douglas, Curtis and Edward in Orange County California. They have 24 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. She is also survived by her sister Delores.

Marian now joins her husband ˝Ole˝ after 7 years, 2 and a half months of separation and her parents and siblings who preceded her in death.
Her Burial will be with him in the Mountain View Memorial Park Cemetery in Barstow, California on February 15, 2023.
