Maida Marie Siepert, 83, of Rexburg, died Tuesday July 26, 2011 at home. She was born September 25, 1927 in Shelley, Idaho to Axel and Lena Anderson. She attended school in Roberts and one year in Idaho Falls. After high school she attended Ricks College.
She married Terrell Siepert on May 16, 1948, they made their home in Rexburg.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints.
She worked as the secretary to the dean of students at Ricks College and worked at the Rexburg Nursing Home and for the Civil Defense program. She owned Unique Boutique in Rexburg.
She enjoyed singing with the Melodaires. She also enjoyed reading, traveling, sewing and collecting tea cups.
She is survived by her children, Mike (Shelia) Siepert of St. Anthony, ID, Terri (Doug) Terry of Boise, ID, Merredith (Mark) Redden of Pocatello, ID, Linda (Dennis) Nessen of Rexburg, ID, and Kelley (Robin) Siepert of Rigby, ID, as well as 16 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
She was preceeded in death by her husband, and her parents.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 30th at the Rexburg LDS 1st Ward Chapel, Bishop Gary Lovell officiating. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 to 7:00 at Flamm Funeral Home and again from 10:00 to 10:45 at the church prior to services. Interment will be in the Rexburg Cemetery.
