Marlyn was the only child of her parents. Marlyn grew up in the Pacific Northwest, helped her parents run the hospital in Hot Springs Montana. Marlyn loved visiting and helping with the patients. After graduating High School, Marlyn was off to the Sacred Heart Hospital Nursing School in Spokane Washington, where she met her future husband on a blind date. It was love at first sight, he would be her "special guy" from that time and forever.
Marlyn and Wes had seven children, five boys and two girls, they moved from the west coast to the east coast throughout their 53 years of marriage. She loved raising their seven children, learning, laughing and loving. They joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in April of 1964 in Dillion, Montana and were sealed as a family in the Idaho Falls Temple, August 3, 1967. Some of Marlyn's favorite things, besides her husband of course, were music, animals, reading and doing skits with Wes at various family get togethers. She loved going to concerts, plays and watching the Boston Red Socks play baseball in the Seattle Kingdome. Her embroidery on the blanket for her grandbabies was loved by her family. Wes and Marlyn loved Skippers fish and chips, we are thinking Wes has opened his first franchise in Heaven.
