Marshall David Orr passed away at his home in Egin, Idaho on Tuesday, January 3, 2023.

Marshall was born May 15, 1940, in Egin, Idaho to Eugene and Georgana Orr. He lived most of his life in Egin, Idaho. He was raised on the family farm and continued to be a farmer most of his life. He farmed with his father, and then went into the irrigation business. Eventually, Marshall purchased his own farm, and an irrigation business. Later in life, road construction took him to many different States as a second occupation. Marshall was a jack of all trades! There was not much that he could not repair or build; from farm equipment, to welding, to adding on to his house. In his spare time, he loved to hunt for hidden treasure, take road trips, camp, fish, and fire his cannon. Marshall was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, where he served in many callings. He served a service mission at the Family History Center with the love of his life, Ruth.

Marshall loved his family unconditionally. He adored his children: Layne (Bonnie) Orr, Stephanie (Todd) Anselmi, D'Nette Orr, Greg (Julee) Orr, Delana (Steve) Marler, Darrin (DeAnna) Robertson, Barbara (Monte & Stefanie) Pettingill, Beverly (Paul) Muir, Clifford (Megan) Robertson. He also loved his 31 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren (with 3 on the way), and 3 great-great grandchildren (with 1 more on the way).

Marshall is survived by his only brother, Roger Orr. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins. Marshall was proceeded in death by his parents; his wife, Ruth Orr; son, Darrin Robertson; daughters, Barbara Pettingill and Delana Marler; son in law, Steve Marler; and great granddaughter Avaya Robertson.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 7, 2023, at 11:00 am in the Egin Bench Ward building. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 6, 2023, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the Egin Bench Ward building, and from 10:00 to 10:45 am at the church prior to services.
