Martha Weimer Covington was born Dec. 18, 1929, and passed away May 23, 2017. She was one of 12 children.

She married Jack B. Covington and together they had four children: Vicki (deceased), Renee (Mark), Dana (Rick) and Kerry (Nedra). She had five grandchildren, Danielle, Blake, Amy, Mitch and Veronica and four great-grandchildren, Sam, Kaden, Maci and Savannah.

She loved her home of 60 years, liked to shop and take care of her flowers. She was a great cook and particular housekeeper. She will be missed and thought of everyday by those who love her.

Thanks to Larry Beasley for the years of help you gave selflessly and to Lorraine Weimer for being at her side for the last few years of her life. Thank you to Kendall Peck for being on call day and night.

Thanks to The Homestead for being kind and caring to her in the last months and to the members of the 11th Ward for all the help and support you gave her.

A gathering will be held for family and friends Friday, June 2, at 1 p.m. at the LDS 11th Ward church located at 590 Summerwood Drive in Rexburg.
