Mary Gayl Cox, 50, of Rexburg, died Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at Madison Memorial Hospital. She was born December 19, 1962 to Larry and Phylis Talley of Mexico, Missouri. She was raised in Rush Hill Missouri and graduated form Mexico High School in 1979.

Her son Tye was born in 1987 in Missouri.

She married Mark Cox and moved to North Carolina. While there she worked in catering at a college. They had a son, Dylan. They later divorced.

In 2003 she moved to Rexburg. She loved to paint and do crafts. She was very generous, kind hearted and was always happy and smiling.

She is survived by her sons, Tye Cox of Rexburg, Idaho and Dylan Cox of North Carolina. She is also survived by her sisters, Cindy Walters of Naples, Florida and Fawn Halverson of Rexburg, Idaho and a brother, Bruce Talley of Auxvasse, Missouri as well as 4 grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, a nephew and a niece.

Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 24, 2013 at Flamm Funeral Home in Rexburg. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the funeral home prior to services.
