Matiu LaRoy Toutai was born July 1st 1986, in Bartlesville, OK. at 3 weeks his family moved to a small town in Utah, called Tridell it was a small farming community in the Uinta basin at the bottom of the Ashley national forest. He loved to ride the family dog (Bear). He moved to Alaska when he was about 4. At 6yrs old He moved to California. Then at 8 he went back to Alaska, where he enjoyed staying with Grandma and Grandpa and Aunts and going Fishing with Grandpa and Uncle John and spending hours upon end with his cousins.

When he was 12 he moved to Oklahoma where he resided the next 25 years. The last year of his life was spent in Idaho where his mother took care of him until he was called home to his Father in Heaven.

He attended Bartlesville Highs cool, was generally the class clown, and had many, many friends. He was always loving, caring and loyal to a fault. He enjoyed watching movies with friends, eating pizza and walking all over town.

Matiu was loved by everyone who knew him. He was always kind and would give his clothes, shoes, blanket and pillow to anyone who was in need. He liked couch surfing, playing guitar, piano and singing.

Matiu's parents are Finepolo Toutai and Kay (keisi) Lolohea.

Matiu is preceded in death by his brother's Toni  (AKA Kulayde), Kevin, Kieven and sister Ora, Both sets of Grandparents and many aunts and uncles and cousins.

Matiu is survived by his siblings: Jennifer Joe, Michael, Chyna, Sione, Monique, PJ, Victoria, Juliana, Billy and Natiloana.

Matiu LaRoy Toutai returned home to his Father in Heaven on October 25th, 2023 in Rexburg Idaho with his Mother by his side.

Burial services will be held at the Rexburg North Stake center at 314 East 2nd North, Rexburg. Matiu will then be taken to Central cemetery in Grant ID where he will be buried next to his Grandmother, who helped raise him. His Funeral service will be broadcast for those who cannot attend.
