Mickey Milner

Louisa Catherine "Mickey" Milner, age 89 of Rexburg, died Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at the Rexburg Nursing Center. She was born November 12,1920 at Stockton, California to Jess Morris and Lydia Buckman Morris. She was raised and Stockton and attended school there. In 1937 she married Ed Gauger in Stockton. They had two children, David and Nancy, and they divorced in 1943. In 1945 she married Leo Milner in Nevada. They lived at Hawthorne, Nevada from 1945 to 1972 when they moved to Rexburg.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served for a time in the Idaho Falls temple. She enjoyed gardening, quilting and making cakes. She also enjoyed visitors , especially her grandchildren.

Mickey is survived by her children David Milner of Parker and Nancy Ewalt of Pine Grove, California, five grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and a great great grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Leo, a sister "Billie" and brothers, Ed and Keith and a daughter-in-law, Mabel Milner.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at the Flamm Funeral Home in Rexburg. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 15, 2010 at the Rexburg Cemetery.
