Miklo Levi Cureton, born Miklo Jose Silva, a beloved son, brother, and friend, most recently of Idaho Falls, unexpectedly left this world March 20, 2018 at the age of 21.
He was Born March 5, 1997 in Brigham City, Utah to Heidi (Davis) Cureton and Alfonso Silva. At the age of nine, he was adopted by Nicholas Cureton.
Miklo was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. When he was 15 years old, Miklo was sealed to his mother, Heidi, father, Nicholas, and youngest brother Matthew in the Idaho Falls temple.
He graduated with honors from Bonneville High School, in Idaho Falls in 2015. At which time he was awarded the "Science Student of the Year" award. He received a full ride scholarship to attend Utah State University to study physics.
Miklo was a very intelligent and personable young man. He had the ability to talk to anyone and made friends quickly. He had a tendency to inspire and lead others without much effort.
Searching to find his niche in life, Miklo tried his hand with several employers; he worked at Jamba Juice, Aeropostale, the formulation department of Melaleuca, Dong's Sushi Restaurant, and as a Car Salesman for Saint Anthony Motors. His personality allowed him to shine and excel while working in a sales environment. He had a natural insight into others that allowed him to know just what to say to make people comfortable and smile.
He is survived by his mother Heidi Cureton, his father Nicholas Cureton, two siblings Mason (Davis) and Matthew Cureton. His grandmother Lori Freeman (Doug Farnsworth), his grandpa Alan Davis (Jennifer Davis), his grandfather William Cureton and his numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother DeEsta Cureton.
Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 11 a.m. in the Parker Idaho LDS Church. Friends and family may visit at the Bert Flamm Mortuary in St. Anthony, Idaho on Friday, from 6-7:30 p.m., and at the Parker Idaho LDS Church from 10-10:45 a.m. just prior to the service on Saturday. Internment will be at the Chester Idaho Cemetery.
