IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Mitch
Fadness
January 26, 1996 – October 21, 2025
Mitch Logan Fadness was Born January 26, 1996 in Las Vegas, Nevada and Died October 21, 2025 in St. Anthony, Idaho.
It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden death of Mitch Logan Fadness, age 29, a devoted single father, beloved son, and loyal friend. He died on October 21, 2025. He'll be deeply missed by everyone who knew him.
Mitch was a dedicated dad, happiest when going on an adventure with his 5-year-old daughter, Ava, who lovingly called him "Daddy Mitch." He was her world, and his greatest goal was to ensure her life was filled with fun, curiosity, and boundless creativity. Mitch surrounded her with arts and crafts, stuffed toys, and dress-up clothes, encouraging her imagination every day.
He died with painted fingernails and toenails, a loving gift from his little girl. It was a perfect reminder of how much he loved playing with her. Ava loved to ask him to play dress-up with her. Like the fun-loving man he was, he always said yes, ready to become any character Ava could dream up. His long hair was perfect for Ava to practice doing hair.
Mitch was an outdoorsman who found comfort in the warmth of the southern Nevada sun over the cold of Idaho. He and Ava, accompanied by her dog Sweetie Pie, were a familiar sight in their neighborhood, riding miles and miles on his One Wheel, with Ava being pushed in a jogging stroller.
A gifted mechanic with a deep passion for engines, to him, every engine was a puzzle that he and YouTube could solve, and he was happiest with his hands covered in grease. He was everything Toyota. He owned many, including three Priuses. His humor, easygoing spirit, and ability to tackle any mechanical challenge despite only having a left-hand with a single finger and a thumb from a potato equipment accident at 13. Mitch was best summed up by one of his cousins: "His hair, his lips, his smooth-talking. Yeah, he was all that."
He'll be remembered for unconditional love, a silly sense of humor, and a life lived fully for his precious daughter. He is survived by his daughter, Ava; his loving parents; Les and Angie Fadness; his older siblings and beloved nieces, Blake and Natalie Fadness (Audrey, Josie, Remi), Riley Gilbert (Quinn and Maci), and Conner Fadness (Krystal); and his grandparents Robert and Lynda Reiley. Mitch's love will continue to be a guiding light for Ava, reminding her every day how much he loved her.
