Obituary

Mona Pincock Wilding, 88, of Sugar City passed away Aug. 26 2016. She was born April 27, 1928 to Howard and Lillie May Winmill Pincock in Sugar City, Idaho. She was the third of six children. She graduated from Sugar Salem High School, Ricks College and Utah State University. Mona was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served in many positions throughout her life. She married Milton S. Wilding on May 12, 1950 in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. They were blessed with five children.

They began their married life in Teton, Idaho then moved to the Twin Falls area where they rented farm ground and Mona taught school. In 1961 they moved back to Sugar City where they purchased the Pincock family farm on Highway 33. Mona taught Elementary, Middle and Jr. High School in several districts for twenty-eight years.

Mona loved books and was an avid reader. She loved learning and teaching. She taught social studies for many years and was grateful to be able to travel to Europe to visit the countries she had read and taught about for so long. She and Milton also enjoyed traveling though the United States and Canada.

Mona was an excellent cook and enjoyed hugs and making memories with her grandchildren. She loved spending time in the outdoors, she always had a beautiful garden. She enjoyed camping and picking huckleberries.

She is survived by her children Roland (Patrice) Wilding of Sugar City, Brenda (Gary) Hutchings of Fallon Nevada, Bruce (Jill) Wilding of Rexburg, Karen (Ryan) Smith of Sandy, UT and Blaine (Allison) Wilding of Firth, 22 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren. Sisters, Melba (Bill) Carter of Idaho Falls, and Janet Gardner of Rexburg.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters, Lona Mae Godfrey, Lela Wilding and brother John Pincock.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m Saturday Sept 3, 2016 at the Sugar City 4th ward Grey LDS Church in Sugar City, Idaho. Friends and family may visit Friday 5:00 to 6:30 pm at Flamm Funeral Home in Rexburg, and Saturday 10:00 to10:45 am prior to the services at the church. Interment Teton-Newdale cemetery.
