Myrna Loreen Tronier Klingler, 80, of Rexburg, Idaho, passed away peacefully Monday, Nov. 13, 2017.
Myrna was born on March 18, 1937, in Salt Lake City, UT, to Gerhard and Rigmor Tronier.
She grew up in Salt Lake City, UT and has lived in Rexburg for more than 50 years.
While living in Utah, she met and married the love of her life, William Blair Klingler, in the Salt Lake City Temple on June 9, 1954.
As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Myrna served in a variety of ward and stake positions. She is steadfast in her testimony of Jesus Christ, and she often took the time to share it with family and friends.
Myrna loved serving people. She could always be found working on projects to bless the lives of her family, friends, and countless others. She enjoyed completing humanitarian aid projects and excelled at using her talents to benefit others.
Seeing the good in people, Myrna was a devoted friend and confidant. She loved people just as they were and brought out the best in those around her.
Myrna was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She took great pride in and always showed much love to her family, which include her late husband Bill Klingler, six children: daughter, Debra (Chris) King, serving a mission in Laie, Hawaii; daughter, Paula (Rock) Steel, of Lindon, Utah; son, Michael (Brenda) Klingler, of Iona, Idaho; son, Kevin (Karen) Klingler, of Rexburg; son, David (Erin) Klingler, of Iona, Idaho; and son Steven (Christie) Klingler, of Rexburg. She has 36 beautiful grandchildren and 43 wonderful great-grandchildren.
Her parents and older brothers, Keith and Gilbert, preceded her in death.
Myrna is survived by an older sister, Carole Jensen of Salt Lake City, Utah.
The family will meet with friends on Friday, November 17, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Flamm Funeral Home at 61 N. 1st East in Rexburg. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 18, at the Park Street LDS Chapel at 700 Park St. in Rexburg and will be preceded by a viewing from 10-10:45 a.m. Burial will take place at the Rexburg cemetery.
The family would like to thank the dear friends and neighbors, as well as the doctors and other caregivers, who lovingly attended to Myrna.
