Nadine Streeper Hemsley, 92, of Rexburg, Idaho, passed from this life on September 1, 2025, in Rexburg. She was surrounded by family and friends.

She was born May 16, 1933, to Denis Howard Streeper and Sarah Lyle Rhodes Streeper in Ririe.

She attended school in Ririe and graduated from Ririe High School in 1951. She also studied at Ricks College.

She married Edward Hemsley Jr. On July 10, 1953, in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. They made their home in Plano, working together on a family farm.

She is the mother of three sons: Paul, Lynn, and Michael.

She is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in many church organizations, including Primary, MIA, Sunday School and Relief Society. She did Name Extraction, worked at both Ricks College and North Rexburg Stake Genealogy Libraries, and was a temple worker in Idaho Falls.

She enjoyed singing and was a member of the Mello-daires and Melody Men for 21 years.

She joined the Silver Sage Camp of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers and enjoyed the privilege of serving as Captain for 4 years.

She loved working in her yard and garden, growing flowers, berries, vegetables, and fruit. Visitors to her home seldom left without something from the garden when it was producing.

She is survived by her three sons, siblings Denis Eugene "Gene" (Pauline) Streeper, and Mary Sue Shippen.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and her sisters, Sarah Joyce Schneiter, and Linda Grace Streeper. Brother-in-law's Bobby Clair Schneiter and Emmett Jay Shippen.

Funeral services will be held Monday, September 8, 2025 at 11:00 a.m., in the Plano LDS Church. Her sons will visit with family and friends Sunday, September 7 from 5:30 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. at Flamm Funeral Home in Rexburg, and Monday, September 8 from 9:45 a.m. till 10:45 a.m. at the church.
