Nancy Elizabeth Warne, 88, of Rexburg, Idaho, formerly of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, died peacefully Tuesday afternoon, July 26, 2022, at Homestead of Rexburg, with loved ones nearby.

She was born in Harrisburg on April 4, 1934, a daughter of the late John Patrick Duggan and Mary Ruth Duggan.

Nancy Warne was a devoted mother, fantastic cook, and bubbly conversationalist. She was married on April 18, 1953, to the late William Stephens Warne. She graduated from William Penn High School and earned a certificate from the Newspaper Institute of America. Studying the writings of our country's founding fathers invigorated her. She enjoyed her time as a Relief Society and Primary President. Her favorite callings were always teaching the children. She was a helping hand to many. Her hallmarks were smiles and laughter. The family would like to thank Homestead of Rexburg for chuckling with her and us as the end neared and Flamm Funeral Home for their services.

She is survived by one daughter, Bonnie M. Warne of Rexburg, Idaho; one son, Daniel S. Warne of Sunbury, Pennsylvania; 2 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be conducted in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Harrisburg, at a later time.
