Nancy Weston

Nancy Jo Weston passed away on September 16, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of love, memories, creativity, and a family who will forever cherish her.

Nancy was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho, on October 23, 1949, to George Omer Deschamps Jr. and Dorothy Elsie Redfield Deschamps. She was the oldest of three children and grew up alongside her two brothers, Steven and Daniel.

Nancy graduated from Idaho Falls High School in 1968. Following high school, she attended Idaho State University in Pocatello, Idaho, where she met the love of her life.

On January 24, 1970, Nancy married E. Marlin Weston in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Their marriage was later sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple on August 18, 1977, for time and all eternity. Their life together was built around family, love, faith, and the many memories they created throughout the years.

Nancy was a devoted mother and grandmother. She is survived by her children, Aaron (Michelle), Emma (Thom) Brunz, Stacy, Dana (Jen), and Deirdre (Joe) McIntosh. She was also a proud grandmother to Bradley (Kendall) Mjelde, Katelyn Mjelde, Kane and Jordan Pritchard, Haley Weston, Ellie and Grayson Weston, Ayla and Bailey Brunz, and Lachlan McIntosh. She was also blessed with two great-grandchildren, McKinley and Malorie.

Nancy had a creative and caring spirit. She loved making laminated cards with funny sayings, often creating them simply to brighten someone’s day. Her creativity could be seen in the many things she enjoyed—scrapbooking, drawing portraits, making crafts, and creating special things for the people she loved.

Above all, Nancy treasured spending time with her family. She found joy in the simple moments, in making others smile, and in expressing her love through the things she created with her own hands. Her family will remember not only the things she made, but the love and thoughtfulness behind each one.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, her in-laws, her brother Daniel Deschamps, and her beloved son, Eric Todd Weston.

Nancy leaves behind a family who will miss her deeply but who will carry her memory, her creativity, her laughter, and her love with them. The legacy she leaves is found in her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all those whose lives she touched.

Her hands may no longer be busy creating, but the love she put into everything she made—and into the people she loved—will remain for generations to come.

Until we meet again, Mom, Grandma, and Nancy. You will be deeply loved and forever missed.
