IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Nanette
Gee
August 8, 1950 – August 1, 2025
Nanette Child Gee, 74, passed away peacefully on August 1, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones.
Nanette was born on August 8, 1950, in Logan, Utah, to Rawson Dewey Child and Joyce Poulter Child. She was raised in a loving home and grew to embody the values of faith, kindness, and service. On June 12, 1970, she married the love of her life, Stephen William Gee, in the Idaho Falls Temple. Together, they built a life centered on devotion to one another, their family, and their faith.
A lifelong and devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Nanette faithfully served in many callings. She was known for her unwavering testimony of Jesus Christ, her generous heart, and her selfless love for others. Her life was a reflection of quiet strength, humility, and enduring kindness.
Nanette found joy in creating beautiful things with her hands. She loved sewing, crocheting, knitting, and sharing her talents with family and friends. More than anything, she cherished her role as a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her sister, Colene (Ron) Yates; her five children: Emily (Neill) Thomson, Diana (Casey) Puzey, Jeff (Kortney) Gee, Shelley Gee, and Brian Gee; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two siblings, and her beloved husband, Stephen.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 8, 2025 - on what would have been her 75th birthday - at 11:00 a.m. at the Salem Church building. A viewing will be held that morning from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to the staff at Homestead Assisted Living Center for their compassionate care during Nanette's final days.
