IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Neil
Zundel
December 28, 1938 – November 4, 2025
Neil Emory Zundel, 86 passed away Tuesday, November 4, 2025.
Neil was born at the family home in Egin, Idaho on December 28, 1938. He was the 6th of 7 children born to William Davis "WD" and Margaret Dougan Zundel. He learned early that if he was going to do any fishing, he had to first do plenty of hard work. When still quite small he began helping in the spuds. 1st through 3rd grades were in Egin, 4th through 8th were at Parker and then he graduated from Fremont High School in 1957.
He met Bonnie Rowe and they married in 1958. They had 4 children; Gary, Dave, Deb and Dan while moving between Washington and Idaho a couple of times and later the Oregon Coast, Idaho again and Montana a couple of times. Neil loved his family, he loved the gospel of Jesus Christ and he loved fishing. He was a good example of living true to what he believed and will be greatly missed.
Neil is survived by his children; Gary (Valentina) of Alpine, WY, Dave of the Phillipines, Debra (Greg) Kesler of Holden, UT, Dan of Winston, OR; brothers, Leland of Cambridge, ID and Steve of St. Anthony; 15 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Bonnie and four oldest siblings, Gerry, Peggy, Jean and Brent
