Nona Orgill Stoddard, 83 of Egin Bench, Idaho passed away May 21, 2011 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center of heart failure.

She was born August 14, 1927 in Deweyville, Utah to Lester and Percis Tippits Burbank. In 1931 the family moved to Wilford, Idaho where Nona attended school from 1st through 8th grade. She then attended school at Sugar Salem where she graduated from High School.

She always had a job to earn a little money. After graduation she got a job as a nurses aide at the old St. Anthony Hospital where she earned her LPN License.

She married Lowell Orgill on February 17, 1948 and their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple.

They made their home in Egin where they worked together on the farm. She helped with their income by working at the Youth Services Center (JCC) for 20 years and at Diet Center.

Lowell and Nona had three daughters, Catherine (Wayne) Swensen of Egin, ID; Gwen Gowin of Texas and Cindy (Roy) Richards of Idaho Falls, ID.

Lowell, her loving husband of 61 years passed away June 25, 2009. She married Louis Stoddard on November 6, 2010.

Besides being survived by her 3 daughters, she is also survived by her husband Louis Stoddard of Egin, ID; one sister LaVoi Congdon of Rexburg, ID; and a sister-in-law Lucille Orgill of Egin, ID; 13 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lowell, 2 brothers, Cecil and Dan, 1 sister Lillis and two grandsons.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. in the Egin LDS Ward Chapel. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. and on Wednesday from 12:00 noon until 12:45 p.m. both at the Egin LDS Church building (1633 E. 400 N.) Interment will be in the Parker Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Bert Flamm Mortuary.
