Norlene Anderson Reichenbach, 74, of Rexburg Idaho, passed away Friday October 10, 2014 in Meridan Idaho. She was born December 17, 1939 in Los Angeles, California to James Darrell Anderson and Lila Gardner Anderson.
She graduated from Mark Keppell High School in Montery Park, California, she then graduated from BYU Provo in Elementary Education. During a visit home, Norlene met Edward Millis Reichenbach on a blind date where they attended a fireside on "Marriage", they married 9 months later on March 3, 1963 in the Los Angeles LDS Temple.
Together they served 2 LDS Humanitarian and Service Missions. As a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, she served in various church callings.
Norlene taught at several elementary schools in the Madison School District. She loved her students and teaching. Her hobbies included; crafting, sewing, shopping, collecting dolls, and loved being involved with MaryKay Cosmetics.
In March of 2013 they celebrated there Golden Anniversary with family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Edward Millis Reichenbach, their daughters; Tonya (Keith) McPheeters and Tara (Korey) Hansen , 17 grandchildren: Ashly, Todd, Devon, Andrew, Miles, Emilee, Edward, Morgan, Jordan, Taylor, Connor, Kaitlin, Haiden, Lauren, Dylan, Hallie, Rylie and 3 great grandchildren: Dillon, Brooklyn and Bryce.
She was preceded in the death by her son, Todd Edward Reichenbach and her parents.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October, 18, 2014 at the Archer LDS Chapel (201 West 8000 South). The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in the Sutton Cemetery. (There will be no viewing on Friday evening).
