J Orland Robertson, 86, of St. Anthony, Idaho, formerly of Rexburg, Idaho and Jackson, Wyoming, died Wednesday, November 10, 2010 of natural causes. He was born June 23, 1924 in Jackson, Wyoming to James M and Tabitha "Beth" Ricks Robertson. He graduated from high school in Jackson and then attended Ricks College for a time.

He served in the United States Marine Corp during World War II.

Orland loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He loved when they came to visit, especially when they brought him M&M's.

He is survived by his wife Lillian of St. Anthony; children, Carolyn (Norm) Mellor of Jackson, Edith (Arthur) Bird of Erda, Utah, Christie Robertson of Rexburg, John (Melody) Robertson of Jackson; a brother Warren (Helen) Robertson of Worland, Wyoming; 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Glenna Bowthorpe.

The family will receive friends Monday from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. Burial will be in the South Park Cemetery under the direction of Flamm Funeral Home of Rexburg.
