Obituary

On October 27, 2011 Pamela Kay Packer Lynn, beloved wife, mother, daughter and sister slipped peacefully away at her home, from complications of the treatment of leukemia, surrounded by her loving family.

Pamela was born September 19, 1962 to Clair and Lynda Wheeler Packer in Brigham City, Utah. She was the second of four children. Pamela was a bright ray of sunshine in her family and the apple of her Daddy's eye. Her early years were spent in Utah, Idaho and Colorado, where a myriad of happy memories were made.

In 1974 her family moved home to Moreland, Idaho. Pamela attended and graduated from Snake River High School in 1981. During High School she ran track, setting school records in the hurdles. It was there she met her future husband and love of her life Jeffrey Bart Lynn.

After High School her family moved to Tumwater, Washington and she went off to Ricks College for a year. Her family returned home to Moreland in 1983, it was then that Pamela & Bart reconnected and fell in love. They were sealed for time and all eternity September 24, 1983 in the Idaho Falls Temple.

Their family quickly grew, despite difficult pregnancies, to four sons and one sweet daughter right in the middle. Pamela was a wonderful mother teaching her children to be hard workers and upstanding members of society. Her family was her pride and joy. She was never happier then when she was surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She loved taking them camping, to the cabin and snowmobiling.

Pamela was a "can do" girl, it never occurred to her there might be anything she couldn't do. Her fingerprints are on everything in her lovely home and yard. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved the gospel and lived it. She served in many positions and always went the extra mile.

She is survived by her dear husband Bart, their sons Jeffrey (Stephanie) of Oregon City, OR, Levi (Paige), Michael, Jeremy and daughter Monica (James) Sheffield all of Rexburg, ID, her parents Clair & Lynda Packer of Moreland, Jeff & Carolyn Lynn of Idaho Falls, her three grand children, Logan, Bailey and Miley, her Grandmother Betty Eubanks of Blackfoot, two sisters, Kim (Bart) Jones of Rockford, Robyn (Andrew) Holmes of Chubbuck and one brother Ryan ( Valerie) Packer of Ammon, as well as a multitude of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

A funeral service in her honor will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday October 31, 2011 at Salem LDS Church with Bishop Mortensen officiating. The family will meet with friends and relatives from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday October 30 at Flamm Funeral Home, 61 North 1st East, Rexburg, Idaho and Monday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services at the church. Interment will follow at the Sugar City Cemetery.
