Obituary

Patricia Le Thompson Mason, 75 of St. Anthony, Idaho died peacefully in her home April 8th 2018 of natural causes.

She was born March 17, 1943 in Rexburg, Idaho to James Lowell Thompson and Margaret Clarice McKinlay Thompson. She married Curtis Charles Wright in 1961 and they lived in Ashton, California, St. Anthony and Parker. They had 4 sons, Kevin Curtis Wright, Shane Wright, Ryan Lee Wright and Cody Lynn Wright. They later divorced. She married Bill Mason in 1986 and was later sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple. They lived in Twin Falls, Egin and Wilford.

Trish (as she liked to be called) was a published author and had several articles published in the Ensign. She was a LPN and loved helping people when they needed her. She loved to hang out with her sister, Vicki, whom she loved very much. She loved to ride horses as a child and always wanted a black horse. She had fond memories of Grandpa and Grandma Thompson at their family farm in Twin Groves.

She loved to watch her boys participate in their sport activities, although she was disappointed when she could not attend 4H & Rodeo events as she developed extreme asthma. Trish won Homemaker of the Year award at the Fremont County Fair in 1980. She truly loved and enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren and would frequently keep all of them for the weekend and loved attending all their school events.

Trish was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many church callings including an LDS mission. Trish was very Christ-like and was always first to give a helping hand and loved all people. She worked out at the JCC as a Grandma to the boys and loved her boys as much as she love her own kids and grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, and Grandson, Austin Wright. She is survived by her Sons, Kevin Wright (Jeanne), Shane Wright (Penny), Ryan Wright (Angie), Cody Wright (Tammy) and her Sister, Vicki Johnson (Larry). She is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. She will be sorely missed by all. We will forever love you Mom.
