IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Patrick Howard
Mcleod
September 29, 1965 – February 5, 2023
Patrick Howard McLeod, 57, of Rexburg, ID, passed away Sunday, February 5, 2023, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
Born in Milk River, Alberta, Canada, he was the son of the late Neil Delmar McLeod and Glenna Mae (Berezay) McLeod. He was a 1984 graduate of Erle Rivers High School. He served a full-time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- Day Saints in Phoenix, Arizona. Arizona would leave a lasting impression on his heart and later be the place where he would bring his family. He was an extremely hard worker and spent his life working as an accountant for various companies, as well as having his own companies. He often worked for businesses who were struggling and would find joy in helping business owners reach their goals. He had a wealth of knowledge that extended far beyond accounting and was a real asset to those he worked with.
Patrick enjoyed football, basketball, and golf, but was a natural athlete in any sport he pursued. He enjoyed teaching his children and sharing his athletic talents with them. His main reason for wanting to move his family to Phoenix, Arizona was so that his children could have every opportunity available to them to fulfill their dreams. He served in various callings in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and left a lasting impression on those he served with. Patrick had a strong testimony of the Constitution of the United States of America and was extremely proud to be an American citizen.
Surviving family members include his daughter, Kennedy Bale and her husband, Hunter of Rexburg, ID, their 3 children (Grandpa's pride and joy) Rowan (8), Gideon (6), and Kate (2). As well as his daughter, Madison McLeod of Provo, UT.
Patrick spent his final days bearing testimony of his love for his Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ. One of the last things he said was that "the Lord had a lot of work for him to do on the other side." He didn't let his sense of humor fail him and was still bringing joy and laughter to his loved ones at his bedside during his final hours. He's now building his ranch at the base of the mountains, waiting for the rest of us to join him.
