Patty Lou Grindrod Reed, 78, of Rexburg, passed away on January 30, 2017, in Idaho Falls surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 3, 1938, to Isabelle Bough and Lois Roy Grindrod in Ellensburg, Washington.

On October 25, 1958, she married Ronald Zahrn in Cassia City ,ID and later divorced.

She was a faithful and devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints and found great joy with serving the temple in many capacities. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, reading and painting ceramics.

She was preceded in death by her son David her mother Isabelle her father Lois and her two brothers Kenny and Roy Grindrod.
She is survived by her loving children Cathy (Jeff) of St. Anthony Linda (Troy) of St. Anthony Scott (Kimberly) Of Rigby Danny ( Debbie) of Danville VA. Amy (Kevin) of Rexburg and Michael of Idaho Falls; 22 Grandchildren and 25 Great-Grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 2, at the Rexburg LDS North Stake Center, 314 East 2nd North. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at Flamm Funeral Home in Rexburg and Thursday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the stake center.
